2023 Class V Admission
Affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, this is a completely residential school (both English and Bengali medium) for boys from classes V to XII. Boys from all cross sections of society, irrespective of caste, creed and religion are admitted here. The Admission Test comprises two phases, Written Test and Interview.
ELIGIBILITY : a)Qualification : Boys studying in Class IV/V with 60% marks in aggregate in the last Annual Examination they appeared at, are eligible for the test. In cases where there is no system of awarding marks and only grading is done, exact percentage of marks and conversion formula adopted are to be mentioned with documentary evidence, if required.
b) Age limit : Born between 01.09.2011 & 30.04.2013
c) Height : 130 cm to 150 cm d) Weight : 30 kg to 50 kg
APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
a) The Application Forms will be available ONLINE only on our website at www.rkmvpurulia.in between 17 August 2022 and 25 October 2022. No OFFLINE form will be issued.
b) The following documents are to uploaded at the time of application : (i) Birth Certificate of the student (ii) Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Acknowledgement (iii) Caste Certificate, if applicable (iv) Marksheet of the last annual exam the student appeared for (v) Passport size Photograph (vi) Signatures of the student and guardian
c) Admission Test Fees, Rs. 700/- (Rs. 1,400/- for candidates from Manipur) is to be paid ONLINE by 22 October 2022. d) After successful submission of the Application form and payment of the Admission Test Fees, the ADMIT CARD can be downloaded, immediately.

a) Submission of Application Forms (ONLINE only) : 17.08.2022, 11 a.m. to 22.10.2022, 4 p.m.
b) Date and time of the Written Test : 06.11.2022 (Sunday), 10.30 a.m. - 12.15 p.m.
c) Results of the Written Test : 13.11.2022 after 4 p.m. d) Interview, Medical Test & Admission : 15.11.2022 to 17.11.2022 from 9.00 a.m.

SUBMISSION OF OTHER DOCUMENTS, ETC. AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW :
a) Original copy of Character Certificate by the Headmaster/Principal of the present school
b) Original copy of Medical Certificate by a Registered Medical Practitioner with his Registration Number
c) Photocopy of Annual Income Certificate(s) of guardian(s)
d) Passport size colour photographs (2 copies)
Any information given in the Application form, if subsequently found wrong, may cause expulsion of the candidate.
Calculators, Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices or any other communication device or electrical gadgets are not allowed in the examination hall.
Financial assistance in the form of several scholarships and stipends are awarded to financially poor students from class V onwards strictly on the basis of merit and good conduct.
Vidyapith conducts no coaching / tutorials for the Admission Test. Question papers of the previous years or sample question papers are also not provided or published.
No accommodation in Vidyapith campus will be provided during the tests.
