Bihar assembly election 2015 schedule has been declared by Election Commission (EC) today and it will be 5 phase assembly poll in Bihar.

1st Phase: 12 October, Monday (Poll on 49 assembly seats)
2nd Phase: 16 October, Friday (Poll on 32 assembly seats)
3rd Phase: 28 October, Wednesday (Poll on 50 assembly seats)
4th Phase: 01 November, Sunday (Poll on 55 assembly seats)
5th Phase: 05 November, Thursday (Poll on 57 assembly seats)
Total voters: 6 crores 68 lakhs
Bihar Election / Polls First Phase:
49 assembly seats will be covered in Phase I which includes Samastipur, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Banka, Khagaria, Munger, Lakhisarai, Shekhpura, Nawada and Jamui
Bihar Election / Polls Second Phase:
32 assembly seats will be covered in second phase which includes Kaimur, Rohtas, Arwal, Jahanabad, Aurangabad and Gaya
Bihar Election / Polls Third Phase:
50 assembly seats will be covered in Phase III which includes Saran,Vaishali,Nalanda,Patna,Bhojpur, Buxar.
Bihar Election / Polls Fourth Phase:
55 assembly seats will be covered in Phase IV which includes Pashim Champaran, Purvi Champaran, Sheohar, sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj, Siwan
Bihar Election / Polls Fifth Phase:
57 assembly seats will be covered in Phase V which includes Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishangaj, Purnia, Katihar, Madhepura, Saharsa, Darbhanga.

Counting and result declaration of Bihar assembly polls 2015: 08 November, Sunday
The ruling party in Bihar is seeking the third term. the state for ten years, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar belongs to Janata Dal (United) - JD (U) and his party has made alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal or RJD and the Congress for this Bihar assembly election 2015.
The BJP has shown excellent results in Bihar in the last Lok Sabha polls. BJP is in alliance with Ram Vilas Paswan's LJP and Upendra Kushwaha's RLSP.
Out of 243 Assembly constituencies in Bihar, 47 are affected by left-wing extremism, 29 districts out of 38 are covered under left-wing extremism
